Effective March 1, 2015, Bill Doherty assumed the position of Executive Vice President of Transervice
LAKE SUCCESS, NY, MARCH 2, 2015: Effective March 1, 2015, Bill Doherty assumed the position of Executive Vice President of Transervice Logistics Inc. , Transervice Lease Corp. and Transervice Lease Co. Mr. Doherty comes from Greatwide Distribution Logistics in Dallas, TX as CEO and has a strong background in logistics and transportation.
Mr. Doherty will lead the company with Dennis M. Schneider, president, and Joseph N. Evangelist, executive vice president of Transervice Companies. Mr. Doherty will operate from Transervice’s headquarters in Lake Success, New York, beginning this summer.
Mr. Schneider said “Bill’s business acumen and extensive operational and industry experience will bring significant benefits to the Transervice organization and its valued customers.”
Transervice has been providing transportation solutions since 1969 and currently operates from 120 locations across North America with responsibility for 24,000 on-road vehicles of all configurations, plus material handling equipment.
